Baby Sister

I have had the hardest time keeping the blog up to date as I feel like there are about 4 hours less in a day than I need.  But I have 10 minutes right now that I am going to throw up a quick note about our second adoption.   We started the process in March but had a week or two period where we felt we needed to pray and seek God's will before moving forward.  We asked specific family and friends to pray with us and for us and then talked again.  We both felt peace to move forward with adopting a little girl from Ethiopia.  We don't know how long all of it will take and we are most likely moving next summer, so there is a lot of unknown. But the boys are thrilled.  They know it is not set in stone that we will get a baby sister but they are very excited to have one.  They talk about her all the time.  Nati even has a baby sister dance.

This time around the whole process seems a little less stressful, a lot more annoying and much more predictable.  We are aware of the hoops and loops we must jump to get where we want to get.  We have a full family life already so it feels much less desperate and more a process.  Here is a list of our to-do list.  We have fulfilled probably over half of them but it is still an uphill battle.  Our goal is to have our dossier in to Ethiopia by the end of August and hopefully be on the wait list by September sometime.  I'll try to be more consistent with updates on this and our adorable boys.

Our to-do list in pink so we know we are aiming for baby girl.

The boys at the post office mailing our first lot of paperwork and MONEY off:).
